VR2 Overview
The sE VR 2 is an active ribbon microphone so phantom power +48v IS needed for this microphone to operate. Like all ribbons the VR2 utilizes a figure 8 or bi directional pick up pattern. The VR series is known for their brighter high frequency response than what you would expect out of a ribbon mic. The VR2 is larger and more sensitive than the VR1.
