4099 S Overview
The DPA 4099 S is specifically designed for the sound pressure levels of saxophones. The 4099 S includes a mounting clamp that is designed for the bell of a saxophone. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 S incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz. This mic definitely does NOT lack clarity.
