D6X Overview
The Audix D6X is a dynamic cardioid instrument microphone designed to deliver powerful low-frequency performance for both live sound and studio recording. Building on the proven reputation of the original D6, the D6X captures deep bass, punchy attack, and excellent transient response, making it an outstanding choice for kick drums, floor toms, bass cabinets, guitar amps, and other low-end sources.
A recessed three-position voicing switch allows you to tailor the microphone's sound to your application. Choose Deepfor the classic D6 low-end punch, Balanced for added midrange presence, or Natural for a flatter response that works well on percussion, amplifier cabinets, and a wide variety of instruments. Its rugged machined aluminum body, steel mesh grille, and transformerless design ensure reliable performance and consistent signal quality on stage or in the studio.
