M80-SH Overview
The M80-SH has all the same characteristics as the Telefunken M80. Same capsule (T80) so same pickup pattern, frequency response and SPL rating. The folks at Telefunken created a "sawed off" version of the M80 for better drum application. We see these get rented for live drum recordings A LOT. This would be good to shoot out against a B56A and a Sennheiser MD421.
