NXN2 Overview
The Shure Nexadyne 2 is a dynamic supercardioid microphone designed for kick drum applications. It uses Shure’s Revonic Dual-Engine Transducer, which provides consistent pickup and reduces unwanted noise. The microphone features heavier coils, contributing to an extended low-frequency response, balanced midrange, and clear high-frequency attack.
Its dual-transducer design includes a contoured EQ profile that can reduce the need for additional processing. The compact cartridge allows for flexible positioning in tight spaces, and the black finish keeps its appearance unobtrusive. An integrated swivel joint, separate from the XLR output, helps with secure placement while minimizing strain on cables. The humbucking design of the capsule also helps reduce interference such as stage rumble.
