MD421 MKII Overview
The Sennheiser MD421 MKII is a newer model of one of the classics. The 421 is a dynamic microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern that has a frequency response range from 30 Hz to 17 kHz. This mic can be found in studio recording sessions, on stage performances, and used in radio broadcast. It is known for its unique shape and 5-position bass control (tone shaping). Used on vocals, brass instruments, and among other things guitar amps. Our friend Andrew Stone of Church On the Move uses these puppies on the toms of the drum kits.
