PR40 Overview
At first glance do not let the Heil PR40 fool you. This is NOT a condenser. This a end address mic, that’s right an end address dynamic microphone. It has a significantly large voice coil for a dynamic mic. Its cardioid pickup pattern offers a high level of off axis rejection and frequency response in the range of 28Hz – 18 kHz makes it suitable for broadcast vocals, kick drums and bass amps.
