4099 A Overview
The DPA 4099 is specifically designed for the sound pressure levels of acoustic instruments like accordions. The 4099A includes a mounting piece that is designed to be mounted on the top of an accordion. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz. This mic definitely does NOT lack clarity.
