The DPA 4006ES Omni Microphone with Active Side Cable is a premium omnidirectional condenser microphone designed for applications where natural, transparent sound is essential. Its compact 3.5 cm capsule delivers exceptional detail and an extended 10 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, making it an excellent choice for orchestral recording, live performances, theater, houses of worship, and studio sessions.
Ideal for stereo techniques such as A-B spacing and Decca Tree configurations, the 4006ES captures a wide, realistic soundstage with outstanding accuracy. Optional acoustic grids (sold separately) allow you to tailor the microphone's frequency response and pickup characteristics, while the included SM4000-C suspension mount provides secure placement and reduces unwanted vibrations.
