NCTH Capsule Overview
The Audix NCTH is a tight hypercardioid dynamic capsule engineered for handheld transmitters (not included), designed to fit three-ring wireless systems and compatible with any platform using an s thread interface. Built for close vocal use in high-volume environments, its acoustic design delivers focused pickup with strong ambient rejection, while the Very Low Mass (VLM) diaphragm preserves clarity and articulation even when performers work inches from the grille. The hypercardioid pattern offers significant side and rear rejection, providing excellent isolation on loud stages with wedges, sidefills, and heavy backline, and supporting higher gain before feedback with reduced spill from surrounding instruments. Capable of handling up to 144 dB SPL, the capsule maintains tonal stability and dynamic integrity under aggressive vocal performance. Its stable diaphragm behavior and optimized airflow geometry ensure consistent performance over long sessions, while the s thread interface allows secure mounting to compatible handheld transmitters, resulting in a capsule that delivers precision, isolation, and clear, controlled vocals in demanding live and broadcast environments.
