4018V Handheld Overview
The Danes sure know what they were doing when they created the d:facto™ 4018V. This is a handheld end address condenser mic that is designed for both stage and studio. Engineered especially for vocal performances onstage, the d:facto™ holds a supercardioid capsule that is designed to reproduce every nuance of the human voice transparently, consistently and thrillingly. The 4018v capsule utilizes a super cardioid pickup pattern for maximum gain before feedback AND it also behaves like a typical cardioid by not being bound by less desirable off axis sound . The frequency range is 20Hz - 20kHz will a small boost at 12kHz.
Where sound pressure levels are a challenge, the d:facto™ is up to the task with its 160 dB SPL threshold, three-step pop-protection grid and best-in-class low handling noise. The d:facto™ offers excellent sonic reproduction with all the detail and balanced linear phase and frequency response users have grown to trust for DPA Microphones. All that to say, they're sick!!
