4099 D Overview
The DPA 4099 D is specifically designed for the high sound pressure levels of a drum kit, therefore a lower sensitivity. The 4099 D also includes a mounting clamp that can be attached to the kick drum, snare drum and toms. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8 Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz.
