Beta 87A Capsule
This capsule is the just the wireless adaption for the Shure Beta87A wired microphone. This capsule is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern. Singing closer to this mic doesn’t produce as much low end in the vocal making them ideal for female vocalists. This mic brightens up the darker sounding vocal as well. It is also unique for vocalists that sing in a greater dynamic range (22dB-139dB). This is not the mic capsule you want for vocals that scream. the frequency range is really wide, 50Hz to 20kHz and gradually curves up from 2k to 10k before diving off. Add it to your capsule shootout, hey you won't know unless you try it.
