4099 V Overview
The DP 4099 V is specifically designed for the sound pressure levels of acoustic instruments such as violins, violas and mandolins. The 4099 V includes a mounting clamp that is designed for the small body construction of these stringed instruments. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 V incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz. This mic definitely does NOT lack clarity.
