4099 U Overview
The DPA 4099U is specifically designed for the sound pressure levels of wind instruments such as flutes, clarinets, oboes and bassoons The 4099U includes a mounting strap that is designed for the cylindrical body of these wind instruments. This microphone is a condenser utilizing a super cardioid pickup pattern for max gain before feedback especially in the high mids (8Mhz) and lows (250 Hz). The frequency response of the 4099 incredibly ranges past 20Hz and 20 Mhz. This mic definitely does NOT lack clarity.
